NORTHWOOD, OH | 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HDJanuary 19, 2026Dishonest business practices by the service advisor. This dealership’s transmission technician already determined my vehicle has a faulty transmission valve body at my last visit following the most recent transmission repair which is why this visit was scheduled. I was asked to bring it back when GMC produced a TSB for this well known issue. Service advisor refused to acknowledge previous troubleshooting, claims I “don’t know how a transmission is supposed to shift” and states it’s normal to harshly downshift and slam gears. My appointment was set up to address the manufacturer warranty repair, but I was asked to pay $160 for the troubleshooting. The lack of customer service and disrespectful demeanor by staff should make this business’s leadership embarrassed.Response from Cronin Buick GMC of Perrysburg
